An FRP dust removal tower, also referred to as a fiberglass reinforced plastic wet scrubber or packed bed adsorption tower, is a high-efficiency air pollution control device for removing particulate matter from industrial flue gas streams. Unlike carbon steel towers that require rubber or epoxy lining to resist corrosion, our FRP dust removal tower is fabricated entirely from corrosion-resistant vinyl ester or isophthalic polyester resin, reinforced with E-glass or C-glass fiber. The monolithic construction—no welds, no linings—eliminates weak points where acid dew point corrosion would destroy metal scrubbers within months.
We offer three internal configurations to match your dust characteristics: packed bed towers (for sub-micron dust + soluble gas removal), venturi scrubbers (for high inlet dust loading up to 20g/Nm³), and spray towers (for coarse dust with sticky or fibrous particulate). Each tower includes integrated demister pads (mesh or chevron type) to limit outlet moisture carryover to below 50mg/Nm³. Typical removal efficiencies reach 99.5% for particles >3 microns, and 90-95% for 0.5-1 micron fume. Manufactured in diameters from 0.8m to 4.0m, with single-tower airflow capacity from 3,000 to 120,000 m³/h.
