The FRP chemical tank is a filament wound or hand lay-up fabricated composite vessel designed for long-term storage of aggressive chemicals. Using isophthalic polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy vinyl ester resins reinforced with E-glass or C-glass fibers, our tanks provide superior resistance to a wide range of media including hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), ferric chloride, bleach, and organic solvents.

Unlike carbon steel or stainless steel tanks, FRP chemical tanks do not rust, pit, or suffer stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments. They are also 65-75% lighter than steel equivalents, reducing foundation and shipping costs. Tanks are manufactured to ASTM D3299 (filament wound) or ASTM D4097 (contact molded) standards, with custom capacities from 500 liters to 200,000 liters. Options include flat or dished bottoms, open or closed tops, ladder platforms, level indicators, and secondary containment (double wall). Operating temperature range: -40°C to 120°C depending on resin selection. All tanks can be designed for atmospheric or low-pressure service (up to 1.5 bar).
