A molded FRP cover plate is a compression-molded fiberglass composite lid designed to safely cover industrial openings such as chemical trenches, wastewater basins, underground vaults, storage tank manholes, and electrical junction pits. Unlike steel or concrete covers, FRP molded cover plates are non-corrosive, 75% lighter, and feature an integral anti-slip walking surface. Our manufacturing process uses thermoset resin (ISO, vinyl ester, or polyester) with continuous glass fiber mats and a pressure-molded outer layer for consistent thickness and edge strength. These covers meet or exceed load class A15 to F900 per EN 124 standards. They never require painting, rust removal, or cathodic protection, making them the lowest-lifecycle-cost solution for municipal and industrial infrastructure.We manufacture high-load FRP molded cover plates for chemical plants, water treatment facilities, and industrial flooring systems. Each cover plate is compression-molded under 1,000+ tons of pressure to eliminate voids and ensure uniform thickness across the entire panel. The standard anti-slip grit top reduces fall risks, while the smooth underside prevents debris accumulation. Available in 12 standard sizes from 12″×12″ to 48″×48″. All covers include stainless steel fasteners and lifting keys upon request. Free corrosion testing samples provided for qualified buyers.
